Tricks to increase your productivity workflow ft. tech
Nowadays everyone is looking for a shortcut for long work to be efficient and complete work on time.
So here I am going to tell you, not only keyboard shortcuts but also real-life usage shortcuts to increase your productivity.
SO LET'S START:
- First, stay planned about what to do and also what no to do during work time. For this I suggest you using Focus assist available in windows and focus mode available in most android phones like Samsung to block unwanted apps to reduce distraction by getting notifications/messages.
- Be ready with all things done. Like for example your going to attend an online zoom meeting at 2:00 pm, so you should be ready with zoom installed and running on your system. It should not be like that at the time of meeting you realize that you have to install the application. And also you should be aware of how to use that software. Similarly not only for zoom but for all other works that you are doing the first time. So my tip here is to be aware and alert about your software also to increase productivity.
- Update your apps, like the 2nd step you should also update to prevent delays and also security risks on the web.
type Ctrl+a+c to copy entire text. Similarly Ctrl+a+x to cut the entitr text
Use delete key while typing to backspace in front of words
Using Ctrl+Backspace to immediately backspace the entire previous word with ease
If you have a mouse, click your mouse scroll button on opened tabs on your browser toolbar to immediately close them
Similarly, click your scroll button on links to automatically open them in a new tab
use Ctrl+Delete to deleted the front word of your mouse pointer
Win key+Right/left arrow button to shift your window to one side of the screen. so that you can multi-task easily.
Now with the efficiency, you should also be secure. I have already written a blog post on how to be secure? Check it out here.
Use the "Pocket" app, If something catches your interest, there’s probably something to it. With the pocket save button for the internet, you can save anything from across the web in a distraction-free space, for you to focus and let the ideas flow. This can be helpful if you are working and you found an interesting article but you have no time to read then save it to pocket and read it later. Check out it here.
Use a to-do list manager. My suggestion for this task is "Priorities", the best to-do manager. Just mark your priorities for your day and get started, download it for android and ios. Visit their website here. You can also use their Goal manager app to set and accomplish your goals. Download it here for android and ios.
- At last to stay productive you should also keep your hardware such as the keyboard, mouse clean and maintained so they work properly and you can fulfill your task on time with ease.
These are the most important things to be considered when you think you have to be PRODUCTIVE. I'll be updating this list of Productivity management at regular intervals to make you stay productive.
